Study On The Impact Of China's Industrial Upgrading On Employment

In China, employment is an important issue relating to social stability and economic development, that is waiting to be resolved, but the capacity of China's social security and levels of economic development are unable to provide a huge unemployed population.Therefore, increasing jobs and promoting employment are important ways to resolve people's livelihood in China at present. In recent years, as China's rapid economic development and national policy adjustments, the industrial structure is evoluting in the direction of rationalization and high grade, and promoting the industrial structure to be optimization and upgrading, forming a industrial structure which is a high-tech industry-driven, basic industries and manufacturing to support, all-round development of the service sector. In the process of evolving industrial structure,how to solve the employment problem became a hot issue which a large number of scholars to explore. In the process of promoting the rationalization of industrial structure and upgrading,how to promote employment, alleviate the employment pressure in China became the community focus.On the basic of native and foreign scholars' extensive research experience about industrial structure and employment issues, this thesis is to study the effects of the industrial structure upgrading on employment's volume and structure from another angle, that is the perspective of the "Service Economy" and the development of high-tech industries, commiting to promoting the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure to improve the level of employment in China.This paper is divided into two parts to study the impact of optimization and upgrading of industrial structure on the employment. At the angle of Service Economy, one part is to analyze promoting effect of Service Economy on employment from the process which is output value of tertiary industry accounted for the proportion of GDP increasing,using the contribution rate of employment, other indicators of elasticity and simple linear regression to analyze the capacity of tertiary industry employment absorption,and the effect of development of the tertiary industry on industrial structure and the primary industry and secondary industry. Another part is to research the effects of the development of high-tech industries on employment. On the premise of expatiating concept of the high-tech industries and theoretical analyzing the effects of the high-tech industries on employment, empirical analyzing this part.Through this paper studied:China's industrial structural upgrading can optimize the structure of employment,but the balance of every region should be noticed. Although China's industrial upgrading will ostracize employment in the short term, but in the long run which can help to absorb employment.Finally, via comparing with standards and some relevant conditions at home and abroad, raising a series of constructive comments on the promotion and expansion of employment.
