with the development of the socialism market economy, the competitions are more and more vigorous in the transportation business such as highway, railroad, aviation, sea mail and piping etc. How face the existence problem in the oneself development and under the premise of well knowing the market fierce competition to study the market in time, change manage strategy, adjust economic structure, change the old management way of thinking and mode of the planned economy system , occupy the market quota sooner and more and look for development in the competition, and all above-mentioned is the demand of the transportation development.This text aims at the Tangshan Railway Section facing the freight transportation marketing problems, from the effective demand to apply marketing academic theories, use system analysis methods, and combine railway profession and state owned business enterprise characteristics from the business enterprise management and the exterior environment to system analysis the freight transportation marketing understanding, the marketing network establishment, the problems of conveyance charge, the conveyance product structures and the railway soft hardware facilities, they found out the existent shortage at the Tangshan Railway Section freight transportation marketing. Under the vigorous situation of the present transport a market competition day by day, it urgently need carry on marketing system reform and carry out an overall marketing strategy, then realize the railway transportation market occupancy continuously increasing and the conveyance income steady exaltation. It puts forward problem-solving projects and measures from different levels according to the basic strategies and targets of the market research, environment valuation and market subdivide to the freight transportation marketing to the strategy research and implement of the freight transportation marketing.The thesis puts forward the viable strategy in the marketing work of the railway freight transportation, analysis from the market, service, price, mechanism of four etc., and take mechanism as a point, and then be divided into the five sections of the decision, information, quality guarantee, carrying guarantee, encourage and control, then elaborats some concrete ways of the railway intermediate station in the freight transportation marketing trough some cases from the Tangshan Railway, in order to increase railway quantity and transport income. The research of the Tangshan railway section transportation marketing strategy and the implement of measure obtained an anticipant result and purpose.
