The Research Of Hunan Agricultural Competitive Based On Integrated Comparative Advantage

Under the global financial crisis and the severe impact of natural calamity not met for many years, China's exports drop and its economy decline, therefore the economic development is faced with a great deal of difficulties, it is an inevitable choice to spur the domestic demand. One of the focal points of expanding domestic demand is in the countryside, and the focal point of the countryside is the development of agriculture. China is a large agricultural country, keeping the task of steady development of grain on the high base figure that agriculture has increased production for 5 years in succession to become more strenuous; On the other hand, keeping the difficulty of the reasonable level of the price of agricultural products becomes more prominent in the present situation that product costs of the resource generally fall at home and abroad. Great concern has been paid to the atmosphere of the quality safety of food in the whole society, so it is urgent to the requirement of improvement on the agricultural product quality and of evading the business risk. In such a domestic and international circumstance, it is imminent of improving agricultural competitiveness of Hunan to maintain its social and economic development stable.On the basis of comparative advantage theory and competition advantage theory, this text further absorbs the new theory achievement, enriches the agricultural competitiveness theory to avoid the predicament of falling into one party and denying another party. Along the direction of the comprehensive comparative advantage theory, we have analyzed and excavated the source of the agricultural competitiveness, constructed a set of index system on the basis of panel data of 31 regions to prove the comprehensive comparative advantage theory and measure the comprehensive comparative advantage intensity of each area. We compare the agricultural competitiveness in Hunan Province with other areas by index constructed above to find out the main sources of the domestic competitiveness of the agriculture of Hunan Province, and the corresponding countermeasure to improve its agriculture in the domestic competitiveness is adopted to establish the foundation for improving the international competitiveness of agriculture of Hunan Province.
