Whether or not cash crops can be effective has the key role in achieving peasant income increase and promoting the rapid development of rural economy.In recent years,the proportion of areas sown to cash crops accounting for total areas sown to crops has been enlarged gradually in Bayannaoer City.Areas sown to cash crops of Bayannaoer City keep increasing along with stability in 2016,which are to 429 thousand mu and increased 30 thousand mu compared with last year.However,how to augment competitive advantage of cash crops on the basis of stabilizing the areas sown to cash crops is main focus in Bayannaoer City.Consequently,for the intention to improve competition and taking full advantages for cash crops,it ought to strengthen competitive industry,enlarge scale and fully exploit potentialities by the means of acquiring comparable advantage and disadvantage of local cash crops in Bayannaoer City.Based on the theory of comparative advantage,this dissertation takes oil,vegetables,melons,beets and legumes which are in the top of cash crops as study objects,and uses the comprehensive advantage index method to calculate the four indexes,that is,scale advantage index,efficiency advantage index,comprehensive advantage index,comprehensive advantage index ratio,to analyze the comparative advantage amongst five main production areas of cash crops from the viewpoints of regional comparative advantage and breed comparative advantage,which are in Linhe district,Dengkou county,Wuyuan county,Hangjinhou banner and Wulateqian banner.The conclusion is that the advantages of the development of economic crops in Bayannaoer City have not been effectively brought into effect,and the development of the county area has not been balanced.Therefore,it is necessary to keep the advantages of cultivated varieties and solve the unreasonable structure of the economic crop counties.
