It has long been realized that social network of scientific collaborations provides a window on patterns of collaboration within the academic community. Investigations and studies about static and dynamic properties about co-authorship network have also been done in the recent years. However, the accent of most of the research is on the analysis about the macroscopic structure of the whole network or community over time such as distance, diameter shrinking and densification phenomenon and microscopic formation analysis of links, groups or communities over time. But in fact, how an individual or a community grows over time may not only offer a new view point to mine copious and valuable information about scientific networks but also reveal important factors that determine the growth process. In this paper, from a temporal and microscopic analytical perspective, I propose methods for investigation into collaboration network from network, community and individual levels, thus to trace scientific community's and individual's growth process based on community's evolution path combination with quantifiable measurements, including:the construction of dynamic collaboration network, evolution analysis of collaboration community and quantifiable analysis about growing process of individual researchers. During the process of tracing, we find out that it is the fact that the lifespan of community is related to the ability of altering its membership, but what's more and complementary, we find out that the lifespan of community is also related to the ability of maintaining its core members meaning that community may last for a longer lifespan if its core members are much more stable. And we get coincident results in our four different data sets: DBLP, BUPT, Wan Fang and Cond-Mat. Meanwhile, I also trace the growth process of research individuals based on the evolution analysis of collaboration communities and find out three different growing phases during their growth process such as neonatal period, period of robust growth and decline phase.Meanwhile, international academic conference plays a major role as an important publication and dissemination outlet. However, with a recent profusion of conferences and rapidly expanding fields, it is increasingly challenging for researchers to assess detailed information and analysis of conferences. Therefore, in this paper, I propose methods to analysis academic conference literature data, specifically including:comparative analysis of statistical attributes and structural features of collaboration networks formed in different conferences, and evolution analysis of collaboration community in special conferences. Thus provide researchers with guidance in comprehensive understanding of the latest scientific development and achievements in academic conferences.
