In recent years, enterprises take importance on human resource management level rising in our country, large companies put career planning management to a important place. However, the majority of small and medium-sized enterprises, especially the small and medium-sized enterprises in central regions, the importance of enterprises and employees of attached to career planning is not enough, seriously restricting the employee's career development, also affect the development of enterprises.Grassroots employees as the vulnerable groups of employees, is the foundation of enterprise continued, steady development, and their career development needs of social and business concerns.In order to understand the grass-roots staff in Hunan SMEs career planning, this study the situation of Hunan 11 regional 62 enterprise,1284 grass-roots employees as the research object, investigating the status of Grassroots employees on the career planning situation. Analysis showed that some problems existed in Hunan SMEs,the thinking and understanding is not in place, career planning management voluntary, management has no significant effect etc; Hypotheses proposed in this study and the hypothesis is confirmed by SPSS data analysis. At last, the study combining with comprehensive human development, career planning and management and some other related theory, proposed some suggests, such as strengthening social propaganda, establishing and improving laws and regulations conducive to staff development, increasing the intensity of capital investment to enhance the scientific enterprise management career planning, guiding employees to carry out scientific career planning, pay attention to career schools planning education and so on. In order to provide some basic information for human resources management department of the government, enterprises, employees.
