In the context of economic globalization, foreign financial institutions and domestic financial institutions have launched a full-scale competition. In order to achieve competitive advantage, it will have introduced a variety of financial services. Increased competition forced the commercial banks to speed up the pace of innovation and improve the financial innovation ability continually. By the end of 2008, the total fee and commission income of 14 listed commercial banks reached 153.659 billion yuan, accounting for up to 13.62% compared with operating income, while revenue reached a record high scale, but a marked decline in growth rate, the level of financial innovation have to be improved. Therefore, the study of listed commercial banks in financial innovation ability evaluation of important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper, compiled in 2008 listed 14 domestic commercial banks in financial innovation on the basis of the data, analysis of the listed commercial banks development of financial innovation, financial innovation and restricting its ability to summarize the factors that enhance, using Factor Analysis construction of the listed commercial bank financial innovation model for quantitative evaluation of 14 listed commercial banks in China's financial innovation system analysis, were extracted from the impact of listed commercial banks in financial innovation capability three principal components, and were sorted and consolidated its position. Finally, theoretical and empirical analysis of the basis, on how to consolidate the existing development results, listed commercial banks to promote financial innovation, enhance its ability to raise financial innovation countermeasures.
