| After reforming and open-up, automobile industry of Anhui province has got a great development, and takes more important role in local economics. The government of Anhui province has established the automobile industry in Anhui as the first pillar industries in strategic industries. However, the automobile industry in Anhui faces domestic and international competition which has been very intense. At this time such evaluation and research to competitiveness of the automobile industry cluster in Anhui is very important.The automobile industry of Anhui province has developed rapidly in recent years, so it is good foundation to the development of automobile industrial agglomeration. Based on the theories of the industrial cluster and the competitiveness of industrial cluster, this article has a deep investigation and research on competitiveness of Anhui automobile industry cluster, and gives countermeasures to enhance the competitiveness of Anhui automobile industrial cluster by qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis and comparative analysis.This article is mainly divided into four parts:The first part summarizes the theories of industrial cluster and the competitiveness of the industrial cluster competitiveness, explain the characteristics of industrial cluster and sources of industrial cluster competitiveness. These theories are ready for the below analysis of Anhui province automobile industrial cluster.The second part at first introduce the definition of automobile industry, then summarizes and analyses the advantage of automobile industry cluster and the modern situation of domestic and abroad automobile industry development, in order to prove the importance and necessity of automobile industry cluster development which is the foundation for the below research on Anhui province automobile industry cluster.The third part is the center of this article. The domestic and international situation of Anhui automobile industry cluster development is firstly introduced, the paper analyze both domestic and international the latest uptrend and development of automobile industry, in succession actuality and competition of Anhui automobile industry cluster are evaluated. The qualitative analysis is based on porter's diamond model, which analyses Anhui automobile industry cluster competitiveness from four aspects, which are factors, demand conditions, competitive environment and relevant supporting industries. After a review of relevant literature the paper uses Gini Coefficient and Location Quotient to analyze automobile industry cluster of Anhui province, the result of research demonstrate that the degree of concentration is higher than national average and the automobile industry cluster of Anhui province does exist.The last part firstly point out the existing problems of Anhui automobile industry cluster, then some policy suggestions are gave to enhance the competitiveness and promote development of Anhui automobile industry cluster.The study is based on comprehensive study of theory, research information, data query and analysis, quantitative analysis, comparative analysis and so on.
