Study On The Relationship Between County Economic Development And Increasing Farmers Income In Henan Province

County economy is an important part of the national economy, its development situation reflects the level of comprehensive economic strength of a province. The development of county economy is a good way to promote regional economic coordinated development. Also, it is an important means to coordinate urban and rural development, industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization .The emphasis and difficulty of building a well-off society in an all-round way is the development of county economy. For Henan Province, if let the central China urban agglomeration developing as the first level of the Rise of Central China, then county (city) as the unit of the county economic development is no doubt the only way to realize the rise of the whole province's economy.The basic theories of county economy are discussed first, then the present economic situation of county economy in Henan Province and the relationship between developing county economy and increasing farmers income are analyzed in this paper, Successful experience on development county economy of other developed provinces .Suggestions on developing county economy and increasing farmers income in the next period of time are presented. The results of this study are divided into seven parts.The basic theory about county economy is presented and the status of county economy in Henan Province is analyzed in the first four parts. The status of county economy in Henan Province is analyzed from the aspects of the county economy development scale, financial income, industrial structure and people's living situation. This analysis is based on having studied relevant theories about county economy home and abroad. Studies have showed that county economic development in Henan Province is regional difference and highly unbalance, has a certain gap compared to other developed provinces in China.The relationship between developing county economy and increasing farmers income is empirical analyzed taking Jiaozuo, Henan Province, as an example in the fifth part. The results show that the county economic structure and industrial structure have a great influence on the income of farmers.The existent problems in developing county economy and the reasons of existing problem are studied in the sixth part. The main problems are industrialization and agricultural industrialization process lagged behind, structural contradiction prominent; inter-county development unbalanced, development ideas unclear; the market less competitive, development activity to be strengthened; government functions transformation delayed, management system orderless; many counties'financial situation poor, debt overburden. System constraints, development environment uneasy and work not in place are the reasons for these problems.The ideas about development county economy to increase farmers income are presented in the last part. Five pieces of experience has been borrowed from Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces. Suggestions are showed from the aspects of principles, development ideas and increasing farmers income of developing county economy, providing theoretical support for Henan's county economy development.
