With the deep development of world economic globalization, the competition among enterprises become increasingly fierce, and the cooperation relationship of supply chain among enterprises become more and closer. As a management method which can integrate resources, reduce enterprises in-fighting, improve efficiency and optimize benefits, supply-chain management has become the major mode of business management. The appearance of symbiotic theory offers a new approach for the problems of cooperation relationship occurring in the process of supply chain management.Based on the study on related literatures, this paper applies the concepts of symbiotic mode classification and symbiotic terms constraints, as the core of symbiotic theory, in the area of business relationship. By the research of cooperation relationship of supply-chain, we can better understand the type and characteristics of the cooperation relationship of supply chain, as well as the constraints on the stable development of cooperation relationship. The research reveals that the cooperation relationship of the membership in supply chain can be viewed as symbiotic relationship, namely symbiotic elements. The management and operation of supply chain in different stages is corresponding to a certain stage in symbiotic relationship. The symbiotic environment is made up by external environment of the system. The production of symbiotic net energy is the major factor of the stability and far-reaching development of the cooperation relationship of supply chain. And the proper distribution of benefits, as well as how the essential parameter between memberships closely contact will also have deep effect on the system. The focus in this paper is to locate the enterprise relationship in supply-chain accurately based on the unique conditions of the organization division mode and behavior division mode of symbiosis theory, point out their characteristics, and make a deep analysis on the conditions of stability and development. Meanwhile, taking the realistic supply chain system as the research object, the research selected two specific supply-chain cooperation relationship models--sustained asymmetrical balanced-reciprocal mode and incorporate and balanced-reciprocal symbiotic mode—analyzed more deeply by combining the theory of collaborative management. And it puts forward the concept of incorporate& balanced- reciprocal symbiotic mode and the comparative analysis method of collaborative classification and symbiotic mode classification. Two key points can be inferred from the theory, first of all , well developed as the cooperation relationship of supply chain is, the organization mode can be divided into incorporate symbiotic mode and sustained symbiotic mode, and the behavior division mode is divided into asymmetrical balanced-reciprocal mode and symmetrical balanced- reciprocal mode. The realistic supply chain is made up by both of them. Most of the cooperation mode can be viewed as sustained asymmetrical balanced- reciprocal mode. Besides, the cooperation interface, the media by which the chain members contact, has deep effect on the whole symbiotic system, with the function of commodity circulation and energy conduction. It has influence on the relationship from the aspects of symbiotic mode and symbiotic balance.Using symbiotic theory to study supply chain cooperation relationship, the article help us deepen our understanding of the relationship, grasp the conditions and characteristics of the stability and development of it. Besides, the article is expected to provide some useful references and directions in improving and reinforcing the relationship of supply chain.
