Pb-Zn Deposits in the Northeastern Yunnan metallogenic province have characters of much in quantity,wide in distribution,under the control of stratum,tectonic and other various metallogenic factors.Tectonic of the study area is development and clear zonation, Ore-controlling structure and form of units in the same geological structure with a certain range of relative stability and consistency, With distinct regional characteristics.The studying area belongs to western mountains of typical deep-cutting special landscape areas, with complex topography and inconvenient traffic, the surface geological work is hard to start. Its urgent to introduce a low-cost and efficient exploration technique. As the development of the improvement of remote sensing image resolution, cost reduction of data, mature technology of image processing and prospecting experience accumulated, remote sensing technology in the status of geological prospecting is becoming more important. During 2006-2008, Kunming University of Science and Technology signed lead zinc ore prospecting cooperative projects with local enterprises of ore-rospecting in Jin niuchang, Xindian,Dongping and Yin changpo deposites. The projects evenly distributed in each tectonic and metallogenic belt of studying area, have certain representativeness and this research can be guaranteed effectively.In this paper, structural and tectonic metallogenic theory is applicated, and the idea of from known to unknow is used. Taking ETM+ images as experimental data, the course of image geometric correction, mosaics and wavelet analysis+IHS fusion is processed. Quantitative assessment of image fusion by image standard deviation, mean and entropy, a remote sensing imagery is prodused. Studying the difference of image features, structural geological unit of the study area is divided. Based mainly on visual interpretation, by some means of contrast extension, ratio analysis, principal component analysis, convolution filtering and so on, ring and linear structure was efficiently extracted. Based on statistical probability, making linear structure isodentity, advantage grade, central symmetry and node number courtor map, determining parameters outlier domains, revealing the distribution features of lineament. Studied in detailed field structure tracing, mining area geological mapping with area of 63.25 km2, exploration tunne logging, analysis of lead-zinc distribution form, the author validates the interpretation results of ring and linear structure in detail. Studying the ring and linear characteristics of remote sensing image of typical pb-zn ore deposits, analysis the mutual relationship of orebody morphology and annular structure, lineament, and summarizes three annular and linear structure mode of Kuang shangchang,Wu xingchang and Maozu-Dongping.Based on annular-linear structure mode of the typical lead-zinc district, analyzing annular and linear structure feaures, combining geologic foundation data and materialization and detection data of studying area, this paper predicts three primary target areas, four secondary target areas. Taking three primary target areas at Jin niuchang, Xin dianzi and Dongping for exploration engineering validation, lead-zinc orebody of any size were found, which shows the prediction results to be of higher reliability and the study to be of certain significance.
