Xml Web Service-based Interactive System Of City-level Geographic Information Sharing And Realization

With the development of geographic information technology itself and the expanding sharing requirements of geographic information, both GIS and geographic information have been widely used in all walks of life. However, as to their urban-class application, the flaws of geographic information are going more obvious. Many cities have exerted great efforts on geographic information sharing. But the existing application frames are relative coupling, are limiting a further application hereto, hardly meeting the rising requirements. Therefore, the key to enhancing the construction of urban information is to build a set of sharing interactive frames and mechanism universal and suitable to urban sharing characteristics.Based on the analysis of GIS sharing interactive method and technology, combined with functions of urban GIS, this paper has introduced GML, XML and Web Service, etc into urban GIS sharing interactive frames. This paper proposed an urban-class GIS sharing interactive frame for a single sharing interactive center. Supported by this frame, it also proposed urban–class GIS sharing interactive mechanism facing data update in the batch and the incremental. Based on all the above, a GML data representation mode is formulated for urban-class GIS sharing interaction. At the same time, according to the analysis of the development method and technical route of urban-class GIS sharing interaction supported by XML Web Service design and implementation technology, a XML Web Service based sharing interactive system is developed, proving the feasibility of the proposed geographic information sharing frame and mechanism in platforms.
