Nowadays, with the developing of technology in spatial measurement, spatial data storage, graphics and computer hardware, computers have been widely used in three-dimensional geographical information systems and virtual mine and other fields. In this paper, based on the introduction and analysis of the characteristics of various Three-dimensional grid models, this thesis mainly put forward research and outlines the creation concerning the following two issues:firstly, mine cutting algorithm based on three-dimensional grid models; Secondly, dynamic calculation of mine reserves based three-dimensional grid models on are discussed.In the aspect of cutting algorithm based on three-dimensional grid models, if the grid cell's edges are parallel to the axis, cutting plane and the grid cells will be projected onto the two-dimensional space, again split the cutting planes if the planes cross grid cell boundary, Through the above two steps can complete without finding the intersection of the grid cell and cutting plane the data model can be cut; when the the grid cell's edges are not parallel to the axis, a mew model based on grid cutting algorithm can be proposed. The algorithm uses linear octree to compress and store three-dimensional grid data, and then based on the single element and the cutting surface, establish AABB bounding box to collision detection, replacing the actual cutting surface with an infinite plane, calculate intersection with the cell, and then using polygon clipping algorithm, the intersection point split to the actual cutting plane to get the actual cross region, at last complete the cross-cutting with regional triangulation.In the aspect of mine dynamic reserves calculation algorithm based on Three-dimensional grid models. The traditional calculation of mine reserves can only be carried out on Static calculation of ore reserve, to calculate dynamic mine reserve, three-dimensional grid modeling is raised.User define exploited area curve the on xoy plane and input the depth range, this algorithm calculate those cells in the exploited area, then delete those cells from the three-dimension grid model, and calculate the reserves again.
