Xinjiang Oedipodidae Some Types Of Chromosome Preliminary Study

Chromosome are the carries of hereditary materia1. Theycarry the important informations of specific heredity and variationaccumu1ated in the 1ong evo1ution process. The chromosoarel number,size, behavior and banding pattern embody the specia1 status ofspecies, so they provide usefu1 evidences for axonomy. Cgtotaxonomyis the branch of taxonomy that uses cyto1ogic structures,especial1y. the chromosome, as an aid in c1assifying organisms.In this paper, the karyotypes ad C-heterochromatin distributionof twelye species in two fani1ies of Acridoidea have been studied.These grasshopper .were co11ected from north of Xinjiang.According to the ana1ysis about the result of the test, we canconclude:Firstly, the number of chromosome of grasshopper of 0edipodidaemaintain 2n ♂=23. Sex determing mechanism belongs to X0 type.Chroamsome is termina1 centromere. A11 the - chromosome havecentromere C-band. Whi1e their features of chromosome form andother C-banding pattern are distinct amny different species whichcan provide basis for c1assifying.Second1y, if we consider from the point of cytotaxonomy, wecan find there is obvious difference on the distribution and contentof constitutive heterochromatin between B. Mongolicum (Zub) and B.Geb1eri(F.-W), and it can be proved by ca1cu1ating and varianceana1ysis. These …… differences are also basis for distinguishingdifferent species. According to the difference and otherscientists' studies, they can be promoted to species.Thirdly, the study of cytotaxonorw manifest that there is 1itt1edifference betweew L. migratoria migratoria (L) and L. migratoriamanilensis(Meyen), further study embody their sibship is veryfndi1iar, so I think they are two subspecies.
