Gejiu tin mine is famous all around world and No.5 ore-body is the major exploiting target in Gejiu tin mine. The master dissertation title is selected based on the cooperative item of Yunnan province and China academy/university of research on the reserves increase and the prediction of deposits in the periphery and deep of Gejiu tin deposit (serial number:2000YK-05).This research has been focused on the mathematic-economical Modeling of No 5 ore-body by using the principles and methods of Geostatistics, mathematical geology and modern computer technique. The main results of the research include: 1, The academic results(1) By the statistical analysis of the samples, it is concluded that all the composite samples and single sample obey the logarithm normal distribution.(2) By the calculation and simulation of Variogram, to build the theoretical model of Variogram of the ore-body. And by doing the geological explanation, to primarily discuss the spatial changing shapes of the deposit and its affecting factors. Namely, the spatial shape of the deposit is strongly affected by the uplifting of granite and its intersecting action. The deposit is in the cylinder shape near the uplifting part of the granite and intersecting parts, but it is in the layer shape aparting from the uplifting parts of granite and less inserted parts.(3) For the first time to build Mathematic-economical Model of the deposit in Gejiu tin mine, to realize the digitalization and visibilization of the all useful information of the ore body.(4) By Mathematic-economical Model of the deposit, to calculate the grade and tonnage of different cut-offs of tin and copper along the striking, dipping and thickness direction, and to draw the chart of the grade and tonnage changing of tin and copper along different directions, to sum up the regularity of mineralization and enrichment of the deposit with the method of mathematics and graphs, to change the traditional qualitative analysis to quantitative analysis.2, The practically applied results( 1 ) To build the original database, to realize the electronic, standardization and dynamic inquiring, and it has important meaning to protect and secondary exploitation of the existing data.( 2 ) By Mathematic-economical Model of the deposit, to realize the computerization of the tonnage and grade calculation of the deposit, and the automatization of the drawing of the deposit. To achieve the aim of the rapidness, high precision, saving manpower and material resource and to reduce the cost of the production.(4) By the establishment of the database and Mathematic -economical Model of the deposit, to realize the dynamic management of the mine production, to increase the ability to adapt the change of the mining market.(5) After the establishment of Mathematic-economical Model of thedeposit, on the base of the cost of the mining, mill run, metallurgy, conveyance, management and the market price of the product, considering the sufficient and reasonable use of the resource, to outline and compare dynamically the minralization in different ways, to choose the optimum way of the deposit exploitation.(6) By the Mathematic-economical Modeling of the deposit, to quantitatively find the distribution character of the deposit in 3D, to summarize the regularity of mineralization and enrichment of the deposit, to provide the scientific evidences in order to the do the ore-mixing in the production , the sufficient and reasonable use of the resource, increase the social and economical benefit of the mine exploitation.
