Junggar Basin 9 Carboniferous Reservoir Geological Studies

The shallow heavy crude oil depository mine in Qigu formation of Jurassic at 6 and 9 districts of the Northwest of Zhungaer basin is the major producation reservoir of Xinjiang Heavy Crude Oil Production Cooperation. After the development of 10 remaining years, a lot of the high quality reserves ascertained have been emploied. It is very important and the major contradiction of production sustainable development to seek and develop new haigh quality reserves. The exploration and development of early stage shows that there are still available high quality reserves in Carboniferous reservoir of 9 district. But because of its complexity there are more research for crude oil exploitation. In this paper, according to the observation, electrical scanning and mercury analysis of the rock core of Carboniferous reservoir, the reservoir rock types and those pore structural features have been analysed and described; Based on the analyses of the characteristics of porosity and permeability of reservoir rock and logging information of, the types and distribution of Carboniferous reservoir rock have been divided; According to the information of testing of well and trial produce, the distribution features of oil and gas have been studied; According to the composition of crude oil mixture, the continuity of Carboniferous reservoir and the major control factor of oil abundance zone have been analysed and the reservoir concept model has been established. On this condition, the reserves of oil and gas of Carboniferous reservoir have been recalculated.
