Digital Image Quality, Control And Evaluation

This thesis studies different ways of digital image acquirement and analyzes various factors' influences on image forming quality during imaging process, for example, it investigates digital camera CCD hot pixel and scanner detection problems and establishes scan parameters. After introducing methods of subjective evaluation towards digital image forming quality and discussing several familiar objective evaluation arithmetic, the thesis lay emphasis on assessing of the image forming quality using the method based on MTF. And then, based on MTF, it raises the idea and mathematic model of synthetic evaluation for digital image forming quality. At last, from the aspect of image data quality control and data sharing, the thesis constructs an aerial digital image database. Also, it discusses the selection of data platform, data storage method, and languages used to develop applications. Moreover, it designs the floor database structure. Based on the research mentioned above, the thesis points out the quality evaluation and management of digital image in the future.
