Reservoir Bank Information Management System Design And Realization

Three Gorges Projects is in the geological calamity pilosity area, especially the harmfulness of the bank collapses. With the generous input of the country, the data related to the bank collapse have been formed, but because of the difference of the standard which they rely on, which bring the difficult to direct application. So it has great significance that develop the information management system of Three Gorges collapse bank, go on high-efficient, scientific management and reasonable application to relevant materials.GIS has already succeeded in applying to numerous fields, and has made great progress, because of its strong data management, inquiry and search, map maked and space analysis. This paper proceed from basic theories of GIS, studied in there aspects: space database, map showing and secondary development.At first,from analysing the basic theory of spatial database, according to the characteristics,management and demanding sharing of data structure, data model of Three Gorges, we discussed the management and spatial metadata of spatial data, proposed Three Gorges storehouse multi-level space database and the design of special metadata list.Secondly , according to the relevant theories of cartography, designing the map symbol function module , we elaborated the process which is from making the map symbol to realization of the symbol function.Finally, using the software engineering, we proposed the overall thinking on the basis of Bank collapses information management system of Three Gorges secondary development based on ArcGIS, and designed in detail, utilized VB +AO to succeed in developing this system. The system offered search and inquiry, special analysis, file outputting of conversion and typing out, which integrated others collapse bank predict and prevent expert system, and can predict and prevent collapse bank aimed at the data of search and analyze at the same platform.In the fifth part in this paper, we listed the progress of the bank information management system development, at the same time,we also proposed some suggestions for the follow-up work.
