As a kind of learning ability, self-regulated learning not only helps students improve their grades at school, but also is the foundation of their future study and work. Through documentary research, this paper defines self-regulated learning, expounds its characteristics, and points out the necessity for training the self-regulated learning ability from several aspects. It states some aspects of it, the prerequisites and the obtaining mechanism of its training. In reference to some approaches to self-regulated learning home and abroad, this paper points out the objective and the ways of self-regulated learning in physics teaching at higher vocational colleges. By means of research, interview, observation, investigation, forum, the paper seeks for the theoretical support and practice tactics for developing the approach of self-regulated learning in physics teaching, designs some teaching cases for training it, which are puts into practice in the classes. In seeking for a joint of physics comprehensive exercises and self-regulated learning and exploring tactics for training it, this paper makes some good attempts, compiling a questionnaire, showing the method's influence on students. It also compares and analyses the differences from the practice of this method, therefore laying a foundation for improving their approaches to study and developing their learning skills.
