At present, most main water injectied oilfields in our country are entering medium-high water containing stage, 60%～70% of the remaining oil still left in the ground. New reserves increasingly difficult, high combined water cut, the exploitation of high-level, low recovery rat, which grim situation led to the low recoveries late oilfield exploitation and increasing difficulity. Vigorously promoting the work of reservoir description, making clear remainined oil distribution , through adjustment and comprehensive management, increasing recoverable reserves, slowing down the output, keeping production stable,It's fundamental guarantee for oil sustainable development in our country.The target for investigation of this item is direct at all kings of contradiction exposed at later development stage in medium-high water containing period in T₂k₁ of Western Wu2 district conglomerate oilfield in karamay. Through fully digested available information and predecessor's cognition, using whisht and dynamic data acquisitied from each stage, making a refined known and interpretation for single reservoir sand, construct, collector, sediment etc in the oilfield. By dint of numerical reservoir simulation and producting history fitting for verification and adjustion. finally, quantititying remainined oil distribution, providing reliable geological gist for decelopment of the field and inntegrated management.By contrasting modern sediments, studying on sampling wells, numerous log data and sedimentary microfacies, we concluded that the T₂k₁ of Western Wu2 district was fan delta sedimentary system, which characterized frequent shift of facies in both vertical and horizontal directions. S₇⁴² sublayer was upper distributary plain subfacies of fan delta;S₇⁴¹ sublayer was lower distributary plain subfacies of fan delta;S₇³ front verge subfacies of fan delta;S₇², S₇¹ layers were all outer front verge subfaciesof fan delta.
