Physics is a science of experiments. The establishment of physics concepts and the discoveries of physics laws have always been based on experiments, which in turn has become the touchstone for them. Along with the rapid development of science and technology and increasing inter-infiltration of subjects, physics experiments have led up to and will lead up to explore new fields.Physics experiment as well as its teaching plays an important role in physics curriculum and physics teaching. However, the current teaching model is not so satisfactory, which can be shown in the following aspects:1) Lack of training for students to put forward questions initiatively;2) Lack of training for students to make hypotheses and postulations to design corresponding experiments;3) Lack of training for students to review and reflect over an experiment; And 4) Formalization of experiment process, that is, the pre-fixation, idealization and unitarization of experiment resultFrom the perspective of Multiple Intelligence Theory and Metacognition Theory the researcher has spent careful thought and considerable practice on what experimental design is, how to upgrade students' abilities of experimental design in Normal Universities and how to teach experimental design curriculum. The result of this research has proven that the development of experimental design curriculum in Normal Universities is not only helpful for students to develop their abilities to make experiments, maintain good experimental habits and serious scientific style, but conducive to the expansion of information sources, the improvement of their ways of thinking, the development of their individuality and the promotion of their abilities to design experiments and their innovatory spirits!...
