| Lijiang city is one of the important tourism cities in northwest of Yunnan Province. Urban construction and economic development have accelerated, the geological environment of Lijiang city is affected and its pressure increasing, which result from the rapid development of tourism. And urban geological environment issue has been constraining the development of the region. Therefore, the paper using remote sensing technology combine with actual research in order to translating and researching remote sensing image of Lijiang urban environmental geology, not only can overcome the limitations of traditional methods, play the characteristics of macro, integrated, intuitive, fast, the monitoring, but also have great practical significance and good results.The paper selected the current most widely used The United States Land Resources Satellite, latest series Landsat-7 ETM+ data and the highest spatial resolution commercial satellite Quickbird data as a major source of data. According to the data characteristics and landslide disaster application features, carried on the fusion and digital enhancement processing by using the ERDAS remote sensing software application to the remote sensing image, improved the image visual effect and increased the image interpretation precision. The Lijiang urban environment geology translation of remote sensing image is the paper research key point. The content of the paper as follows:1.The remote sensing research of Lijiang regional topography. Using macroeconomic remote sensing images can directly interpret the basic form of landscape types and distribution law. Three-dimensional sense of remote sensing of Lijiang city three-dimensional images will divide area into three categories, mountain landscape, basin, and valley, which shows a plateau fault basin and deep valleys on the plateau phase staggered eroded mountain landscape.2.
