Petroleum resource becomes the most vital energy resource in the world today. The petroleum detection plays an important role in petroleum exploitation. After 70 years' development, electric logging as one of the most popular well-logging approaches has become an independent subject. Nowadays, only some famous oil companies of the USA and Russia in the world own commercial induction apparatus and explanation materials. Designing and developing induction well-logging apparatus with independent intellectual property rights is an urgent affair.The researched equipment in this dissertation is a new generation one of Array Phase Induction logging. The work of the equipment is based on electromagnetic field theory and undulation theory, and it does not measure the absolute quantity but measure the phase difference of the two signals. The phase difference is related to the conductance of the rocks nearby in the well hole. This approach reduces the trouble of diffusion and widens the conductance mearsuring field. And it reduces the influence of the well hole, slurry on the measured results. And the radial detection depth increases but the vertical resolution does not decrease, so we can obtain the imformation of the original stratum.The transmitter frequency and the Spacing of an induction logging instrument are main factors of determining the matching degree between the well logging data and the investigated stratum. Improper selection of transmitter frequency and spacing will make investigation depths overlap which reduces the real stratum information. It will also bring about bad influence on the tested apparent parameters and make the inverse problem more complex. For logging tool, if its vertical resolution is high, its investigation depth is relatively not enough, but if its investigation depth is deep, its vertical resolution is relatively low. So it is very difficult to synchronously satisfy the requirement of investigation depth and vertical resolution.The dissertation analyzes the relation of logging response and transmitter frequency and presents the transmitter frequency of Multi-frequency Induction Amplitude and Phase Logging from the angle of optimizing logging effect. Through simulating real working environment , the experiment result shows the frequency we select is correct and reliable. The research work in The dissertation provides a valuable reference on the design for logging tool.
