The present work is a part of the project on the spider diversity of Mt.Songshan,Beijing. We conducted a taxonomic study of linyphiid spiders(Araneae:Linyphiidae) collected from Mt. Songshan and Mt.Haituo,Beijing to investigat the dynamic changes of the spider diversity and species composition along the cross of the ecotone of forest-grassland.Additional material from Beijing and adjacent areas was also examined.Four sections are included:introduction,materials and methods,results,figures.First,we introduce the study history of Linyphiidae,its morphology,taxonomic system,and economic significance;second,we detail the somatic and genitic characters used in the identification and classification of the linyphiids;third,a total 30 species belonging to 25 genera occurring in Beijing and adjacent area are reported,including nine new species,three new record species and two new record genera in China.Descriptions of the new species and redescription of the known species,as well as the comparison of the closely related species are presented.Drawings and microimages of 29 species,25 genera are provided.
