The pedestrian protection is one of the important problems in passive vehicle safety area .Because of the rapid increase of car possession quantity ,the uneven makings of a driver ,and the high proportion of mixed traffic mode which has existed in china for a long time ,the quantity and the proportion of vehicle-pedestrian crash accidents as well as pedestrian casualty are at a fairly high level at all time . In these accidents, the head injury, neck injury and curare injury accounts 70% of the sum dandification. The head and neck department damage is the main reason that causes personnel's death. Therefore ,the development of analyzing vehicle-pedestrian crash accidents and studying pedestrian's head crash injury mechanism has an important significance.This study aims at improving the security of pedestrian in crash accidents .Based on investigation and analysis of vehicle-pedestrian crash accidents , vehicle-pedestrian crash models are built by PC-Crash ,which is a Multi-body dynamics simulating software .After analyzing the results of accident reconstructions ,conclusion is made that during the vehicle-pedestrian crash accidents ,different crash effects would be brought to pedestrian's body ,following with varieties of factors such as vehicle types ,crash speeds ,statures and body forms of pedestrian ,the movements and the poses of pedestrian before and after crash ,consequently ,different movements and injuries will be induced . Based on the statistics and analysis on the pedestrian accidents'dates, summarize the character of vehicle-pedestrian accidents. By using the software PC-Crash build up the vehicle and pedestrian mathematical model. Compared with the article published, verify the analysis and consider other random factors into the experiment, then carry out numbers of simulations. The kinetic parameters and the pedestrian's postures after impaction were calculated, and the head impact location distribution was received. The probability of head impact location on the rear 1/3 part of the hood and the windscreen are great, then bring up some advice on the improvement of the structure of the hood,such as based on the impact location adjusting the structure under the hood, fixing airbags on the accurate position, etc.The research not only has the realistic economical and society value but also has a influence to the instruction on the pedestrians'injury and the vehicles'safety research.
