Apricot is one of main summer fruitages and favorable not only for its flamboyant skin, unique flavor and abundant nutrition. It results in quick ripeness and softening, and susceptible decay and loss the value of commodity, Because of vigorous respiration and loss of nutrient and flavor substance of apricot fruits after harvest. It also influences storage period and restrict the developing of apricot market of Xinjiang.Effect of ozone storage, antibacterial paper coated with chitosan storage and ozone +antibacterial paper coated with chitosan storage on physiological and biochemical changes of 'Saimaiti'apricot fruits after harvest was studied. The reference on fresh-keeping of apricot fruits is offered. The conclusions were summarized as follows:1 Studies on the preservation effects of ozone treatments of apricot fruits Comparing with the control group, effects of ozone treatment with 100mg.m-3,200 mg.m-3 and 300mg.m-3 on extending apricot storage lifetime were studied. Ozone treatment with 200mg.m-3 was more effective in this experimentation. The results showed that the suitable concentration of ozone treatment significantly prevented decomposition rate browning, maintained Soluble solids content(SSC), Vc and titratable acidity(TA) contents, decreased PPO activity, delayed storage time, But the high concentration of ozone influences the cell membrane permeability and quicken the decomposition rate of apricot browning.2 Studies on the preservation effects of antibacterial paper coated with chitosan treatments of apricot fruits Comparing with the 0% antibacterial paper coated with chitosan packing, effects of with 1.0%,1.5% an tibacterial paper coated with chitosan packing on extending apricot storage lifetime were studied. The results showed that 1.5% antibacterial paper coated with chitosan prevented decay rate browning, decreased PPO activity, are better than the 1.5% antibacterial paper coated with chitosan and comparing. But the comparing and two treatments can preservation the water content of apricot fruits. Currently the single preservation method can not achieve a better storage quality. The compos-ite preservation was able to remedy the defects, Tt is inevitable trend of the development in the future. |
