As a kind of environmentally friendly material, microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) has the following advantages:renewable raw materials, easy recycling, biodegradable, safety and so on. It can be combined with antibacterial agents to prepare the antibacterial packing materials for packaging.At the same time, like fiber wiki materials as paper, become one of the main packaging materials thanks to its advantages of environment protecting, low cost and sources. Therefore,it’s important requirement of modern society to prepare the antibacterial coated paper with the coating that combine the MFC with the antibacterial agent.Compared with organic antibacterial materials, nano inorganic material has a long shelf life, and good stability in high temperature and pressure environment.And nano inorganic antibacterial material is famous for its wide antimicrobial spectrum and significantly antibacterial activity.After comprehensive comparison of several common nano inorganic material,nanometer ZnO become the hot material because of its lower costs, higher photocatalytic activity, good compatibility between human body and other unique advantages.This article mainly introduced the preparation of the coated paper that coated with the mixed antibacterial coating that join the modified nanometer ZnO as antibacterial agent to the micro fibrillating fiber after ultrasonic processing.And then test the antibacterial performance, mechanical performance and barrier property of the coated paper.And applied it in the antibacterial packaging of Dongzao preliminary.First of all,choose the coupling agent including KH550, KH570 and TM-38s in order to make sure that nanometer ZnO dispersion in the micro fibrillating fiber preferably.Particle size of nanometer ZnO modified by KH550 and KH570 is 16.3 nm and 21.6 nm respectively.it is concluded that the modification effect of KH550 is better.Nanometer ZnO modified by TM-38 s isn’t suitable for using in the dispersion of MFC thanks to the property of hydrophilic oleophobic.So choose KH550 as the coupling agent.Afterwards.test the antibacterial properties of modified nanometer ZnO the on escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus, salmonella and bacillus subtilis,draw a conclusion that the minimum bacteriostasis concentration is 0.031%,0.031%,0.125% and 0.063% respectively.And when the mass fraction of nano ZnO in suspension was 2.5%,the antibacterial effect is best for four kinds of bacteria.Finally.added the modification of nanometer ZnO with the mass fraction of 2.5% to the MFC after ultrasonic treatment.then coated to the surface of paper.Test the antimicrobial properties of the five kinds of coated paper,the results showed that bacteriostatic performance increases with the increment of coating.The bacteriostatic circle has reachedmore than 20 mm in diameter when the coating weight is 5.8 g/m2.and with the increment of coating.the elongation of coated paper increased obviously, but smoothness and tensile strength changed little.The porosity of coated paper is reduced three orders of magnitude compared with base paper when the coating weight is 6.7 g/m2.Applied the coated paper that the coating weight is 6.7 g/m2 in the packaging dongzao.Test the count of colony on the surface and hardness.The experiment result show that the MFC/nanometer ZnO antimicrobial coated paper suppress the growth of colony on the surface of dongzao.At the same time,the hardness hasn’t obvious change.
