Fe3O4 Magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) are non-toxic and fast for separating from matrix, they can be applied in the separation of protein, nucleic acid, and cell, and also used for enzyme immobilization. In this experiment, we use different methods to synthesis Fe3O4 MNPs with three functional groups:carboxyl group, hydroxyl, and amino group. The diameter of the MNPs can be controlled rage from 100nm to 700nm, with high magnetic responsive property and good dispersiveness. The MNPs were characteristic by VSM,TEM,SEM,IR,EDX,DLS, so that the properties of the MNPs were determined. The selected MNPs were applied in the GMO soybean detection progress. The three functional group MNPs were applied in the DNA extraction of soybean respectively. The soybean GMO detection experimental concluded that the three kinds of MNPs all can extract DNA from soybean, and the carboxyl group MNPs are the best one. The best diameter of the three MNPs for extraction are 300nm carboxyl group MNPs,250nm hydroxyl MNPs, and the 250nm amino group MNPs. Then the two kinds of DNA extracted from soybeans by the MNPs were detected by PCR. Experimental results show that one of the samples was transgenic and the other was not. This method can be applied in qualitative tests of the transgenic soybean. The selected MNPs were applied in the preparation the MNP-MIP to specially detecte the BSA.Take the bovine serum albumin as a template molecule, iron oxide MNPs as a carrier and dopamine as a functional monomer, to prepare the molecular imprinted polymer. Experiment concluded that the MNP-MIP can applied in the separation process of BSA and with the increase of adsorption time, adsorption increased till the saturation; increase the template concentration and keep other conditions equal, result in a corresponding increase in absorption capacity. Therefore, the MNP-MIP can be applied in the separation process of selectively adsorb BSA.
