After long-term weathering and leaching of rainfall, the substances in coal gangue arises a series of physical and chemical transformation, many of which entered into the environment, and has caused serious effect on the ecological environment. Based on the results of previous studies, using MATLAB to implement the water environmental quality assessment can simplify the evaluation process of the calculation steps.First, through anglicizing massive real authentic data, the main pollution factors were determined. Then, according to the water surveillance results of 17 test points of ground water in the Fuxin Xinqiu open cut coal mine row of depot leaching water, it selects sulfate, total hardness and so on as main pollution element of appraisal factors. Based on the MATLAB software, it carries on the water quality appraisal used the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation, Gray relational analysis, more water quality comprehensive evaluation of parameters and the fuzzy reasoning toolbox application method, and carries on the comparison to the results of many kinds of assessment method. Based on the MATLAB software, it realized the classifications of 17 test points in the studied area by the principal components analytic method and the cluster analytic method. It may select the representative spots to carry on the long-term monitor and reduces the manpower and resources massively. Indicated by the studied results:the ground water of 1#~6# test points of research area belongs the level ofⅢabove,it may continue to drink; the ground water of 7#~17# test points belongsⅤlevel water, it is polluted very seriously; the main pollution factor is the inorganic salts.
