Nowadays, with the rapid development of modern cities, environmental problems which cities are facing have become increasingly prominent, urban ecology has been greatly damaged, there are virtually no existence of pure natural ecosystems. Urban green space system as the only near-natural ecosystems can satisfies the hunmans need of nature, banlaces the ralationship between humanbeing and nature, shows society fair. The development of urban green space distribution is the ecological foundation of urban construction, it take an very important role for speeding up urban ecological construction, improve urban environmental quality, maintain biological diversity and improve the urban quality. Therefore, the scientific study of urban green space system is the primary task of the construction of urban green space. Combined the interface theory of the interface ecology with the investigation of urban green space system impact on water quality is helpful to scientifically evaluate the imporant impact factors of urban green space system impact on water quality, and provide a new basis for the green space system reasonable planning and play better the function of green space.Study for the green space system in the plant, make a case of Suzhou City 3 Waterfront Green Space System, through the investigation of plant coverage, community structure, plant species, plant configuration and plant litter on the floor thickness, and record the speed of runoff, rainfall, water level of transparency, the changes of total nitrogen and phosphorus content of the lake during the formation. Research the environmental impact of the manner and impact on water quality of urban green space system. The results show that:(1) Green system pollute on water quality environment is achieved through the atmosphere rainfall, under the premise of the formation of runoff, as rainfall increases, the power which green space impact on water quality environment will be more and more strong.(2) The higher the degree of vegetation coverage and the more thick litter, rainfall on soil erosion by smaller capacity, with the runoff of pollutants into the water body is also less.(3) Different plant communities of different environmental impacts on water quality. Under normal circumstances, trees, shrubs, herbs mixed on soil erosion control that is the strongest and so its ability to control the pollution of the lake water, the weakest type comparison of plants is a single herb.(4) Different vegetation types on the lake in the total nitrogen content in different effects on phosphorus, total nitrogen and total phosphorus content of lake water is: the first one is shrub , the second is herbal , the third is non-green zones, the forth is tree and the last one is shrub grass mixed. This change in production flow and water transparency of the pattern is different.(5) Plant species is also an important factor impact on water quality environment, for water pollution control in general is broad-leaved forests than coniferous forest, deciduous forest is greater than evergreen forest, artificial turf than natural grass.(6) Green space can effectively reduce pollutants with the runoff to the water and protect the water environment.
