It has to go through product design, technical development and processingmanufacture for any new product development. In these three stages, processingmanufacture is the key factor of productivity. As one of basic technology of advancedmanufacturing system, increasing the research of the CAPP will greatly promoteproductivity. Processing planning data management is the very important part of CAPP.Under integrated environment, processing planning data management is the base forCAPP and other systems to share data, and is the basic work to do well for CAPP becomeintelligent.Based on the summary of experience and research achievements of CAPP, StampingProcess Management system of CAPP named DFCAPP (Dong Feng CAPP) that basedon UG is studied and developed. In this paper, the key technical problems in DFCAPPsystem, including the MFC technology application in UG secondary development, isdiscussed. Process data model and data management model are studied. This paperdiscuss database design and implementation process, and then puts forward the methoddatabase classes to reuse, analysis the system function structure and module, theauthority of management research, finally shows examples of DFCAPP modules.DFCAPP makes take full advantages of UG platform, based on C/S mode, unifieddesign, safe and practical. The research and development of DFCAPP system has animportant significance when to explore the realization mode of integration with CAPPand CAD, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and how to effectively managethe process data. This system can greatly improve the level of process data management,and promote the construction of information integration in the company.
