Tibet, Ecological Protection And Construction Research

Tibet is a national autonomous region which has its unique position in China in nature, politics, economy and culture, etc; it's also the important barrier of ecology and security. The Tibet autonomous region has high relief, peculiar geography, it's rich in wildlife resources, water resources and mineral resources, and it's known as"the roof of the world"and"the third pole". The Tibetan is not only"Headstream of Rivers"and"Headstream of the Ecology"in the Southeast Asia and South Asia, but also"starter"and"conditioning zones"of climate in China, even in the Eastern Hemisphere.The ecological environment in Tibet has its uniqueness and vulnerability. Because of historical reasons, the ecological environment of Tibet were destroyed seriously, and it has become very fragile owing to the peculiar geographic location in high-altitude, its limited bearing capacity in the environment, and tardiness on the resource recovery. Once the Ecological environment of Tibet is destroyed, its ecosystem will completely collapse, then it will become no man's land that can't dwell in forever, which will be the permanent disgrace of our Chinese nation.Importance of the ecological environment in Tibet has been accepted and concerned increasingly in the whole world. Environment and development are mutually depending on each other for existence and promoting, and they are foundations of human being's existence and development. As the economic development of Tibet is relatively lagging behind other parts of China, the economic development of Tibet was once regarded as the primary development goal. In the current economic development the developing countries will inevitably rely on the construction of industry, Tibet is no exception to embark on the road of industrialization. However, with the advance of industrialization, the social and economic development and the population growth, more and more environmental problems have become increasingly prominent. These issues will be serious obstacles to the development of Tibet area and the whole China, even a wider area.This article aims to analyze main problems of protection and construction on ecological environment in Tibet under the guidance of the relevant theory in the ecological civilization, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures by building a socialist ecological civilization, sustainable development theory, the scientific development view as the basis. I hope this article not only can contribute to Tibet's economic development, but also give important reference value to solve the problems of environmental protection in the world.
