Because of the good bending resistance torsion and compression resistance, H-beamwidely used in national economic construction. With the progress of technology, moreengineering demanding on specifications and quality of H-beam. But the complex sectionwill cause the residual stress on the whole during H-beam rolling process which willdecreased the property of H-beam. Based on the software of Deform-3D hot rollingprocess of300×700H-beam is simulated to analyze the influencing factors of residualstress.This paper analyzes under the different blooming temperature, different rollingspeed and different initial grain size on residual stress. Through the simulation result inthe hot rolling process the conclusion that in blooming process with the increase ofresidual stress on the whole the residual stress on the web is maximum. When the end ofblooming process the temperature change is less on section, the residual stress is mainlycaused by uneven deformation. Enlarging blank grain size can reduce the residual stressof web that completed the blooming process, but the residual stress of flange is increased,the whole residual stress will increase. The slower rolling speed is good for evendeformation of the whole, but the residual stress will increase when completed theprocess. The faster rolling speed can reduce the residual stress but increase the energyconsumption.To run simulations of universal rolling process of H-beam. Through each pass metalflow and equivalent strain of H-beam observation, find the residual stress of H-beam ismainly caused by uneven deformation.The experiment were drawn from samples with different residual stress. Themicrostructure were observed and the gain size were measured to find that the residualstress of R-angle position is caused by the position bear complicated forces in roll process,metal flow is irregular and confusion and temperatures in different areas are different.
