Implementation And Evaluation Of Cleaner Production In Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant

The conception of constructing a resource-economizing and environment-friendlysociety to a sustainable development way has impregnated into many fields of naturalscience and social science. Sustainable development indicates a development that cansatisfy the demands of our offspring as well as can meet our present needs. It hasevolved as a develop model which is currently accepted and turned into a significantsign of human society civilization and the common target.Combining the theoretical research with the research practice in this subject, thecleaner production was proposed to promote energy conservation and emissionsreduction, further promoting the coordinated development of economy and environment.To be clarified from the concept of cleaner production, approval process, evaluationsystem, etc. Besides, the development status and the trend of cleaner production werealso introduced from the view of the world, and the situation about the development ofclearner production of the sewage treatment industry in our country was also reviewed.With the Everbright Water (Jinan) Co., Ltd as the investigation target, this studywas implemented through the route of pre-analysises, identify schemes, implementationmethods, cleaner production audits, and the evaluation systems in a way of step by step.To investigate the situation of the company and evaluate the performance of the cleanerproduction, further to find out the critical step during the implementation of cleanerproduction, confirming the high, medium and low cost plan of cleaner production, andensuing the implement. In order to offer a technical support and reference, theimplementing cleaner production auditing was employed to find out the implementationof cleaner production and cleaner production evaluation index for the other sewagetreatment plants.The results showed that the status of production, environmental protection andpollutants discharge on enterprise were investigated, performance for cleanerproduction of enterprise were evaluated. The analysis result showed that the index ofenterprise cleaner production was91.918which was below the index of advanced ones(>95). As the work of enterprise cleaner production started, the status of logistics onenterprise were analyzed. Based on the previous research results, the important unitsand objective of cleaner production were established.On the basis of the important units of cleaner production, the cleaner productionnon/low cost and medium/high cost plans were established and implemented.Achievements were obtained because of that the implementation, analysis andimprovement were conducted simultaneously.After cleaner production implementation, the status of the cleaner production ofthis plant were evaluated by using quantitative evaluation and qualitative evaluationmethods. The evaluation index was94.132which was higher than that of before andwas just lower of0.868. It indicated that it can be improved in enterprise on cleanerproduction, such as in manufacturing technique, equipment, management and so on.The cleaner production works were evaluated followed the methodsabove-mentioned and the status of the energy conservation, consumption reduction,decreasing pollution and synergy in Sewage Treatment Plant can be reflectedcomprehensively.
