This study improved the original test system called FY1601test system,and make it able toform multiple oxygen concentration gradient conditions. The test system can test the filterresistance to oxidation and hydrolysis by simulating filter’s work environment. Also the draft "filter material high temperature oxidation and hydrolysis performance test method" was drafted.The improvement includs install glass rotor flowmeter,vacuum pump,air compressor andso on. The gas experiment chose PPS filter samples as experimental subjects. Experimentsshow that filter samples all tend to dark color and break off with a clear fracture with the increaseof time temperature and oxygen concentration. Breaking strength increased in the early stage,then decreased as time went by or temperature and oxygen concentration rised.The elongation atbreak is always depressed. SEM photos shows that high temperature and high concentration ofoxygen environment has damaged to thefiber’s structure.Soak test chose PPS,P84,Nomex filtresamples as experimental subjects.Soak test shows that PPS filter has a prefect acid-alkalicorrosion resistance.P84filter material has good resistance to acid,,alkali resistance is poor.Nomex fiber filter materials has poor resistance to acid,alkali resistance is better.The results showed that the developed instrument can effectively simulate the oxidation andhydrolysis reaction conditions to accelerate the filter, the test method has a certain practicalitydrafting.But the hydrolysis experiments the is not so effective,it also needs to be furtherexplored.Compared to gas experiment,soak test is not suitable for classification of filter materialdetection.The" filter material high temperature oxidation and hydrolysis performance testmethod" which fomulated by gas experiments can effectively evaluate the service life of filter material and contribute to the development of the filter material industry....
