The engine burning a certain blending ratio biodiesel is the inevitable trend, it cannot only alleviate energy crisis, but also improve the atmospheric environment.This paper takes CA6DF2D-21engine as an example, precisely measuring the realsize of the combustion chamber, using Pro/E precisely established three-dimensionalmodel of piston which is suitable for diesel engine; the subject is given with physical andchemical properties of biodiesel produced by the cooking oil; established simulationmodel of combustion engine burning mixed fuel, combustion simulation of theCA6DF2D-21diesel engine in the calibration operating condition, different sprayadvance angles (10°,12°,14°,16°,18°and20°CA) was carried out by the application of3d CFD software AVL FIRE2010. Analysis of power, torque, fuel consumption, thetemperature in cylinder, the pressure in the cylinder, the oxygen concentration, NOxemissions and Soot emissions. Ultimately determine the optimal fuel injection advanceAngle.The combustion process of CA6DF2D-21diesel engine burning blended fuel B0,B10, B20and B50respectively under the advance angle16°CA, the maximum torquespeed1400r/min, calibration power speed2300r/min and low, medium and high loadswas simulated. Calculated the power, torque, fuel consumption rate, CO emissions, NOxemissions and Soot emissions of engine under various circumstances, then analysed theinfluence of blending ratio on combustion performance.The comprehensive weighted average method was established to evaluate the overallcombustion performance. Through quantitative calculation, combination propertiesincluding dynamical, economical and emission character achieved the optimum when thebiodiesel blending ratio.The paper provided reliable theoretical basis for the practical application ofbiodiesel, it has important practical significance.
