There are more and more attention has been paid on the energy efficiency and security of construction and industry.The outer wall and the internal’s temperature rises because of buildings and many open-air containers received intense sunlight.It increase the cooling cost,and it has a risk of explosion if the containers filled by flammable and explosive oil. So the solar heat-reflective insulation coating has become an important research direction of the green, low-carbon energy.Sunlight reflectance of coating have close connection with the filler index.The refractive index of rutile TiO2 is the highest in the known solar heat-reflective insulation filler.It could improve the physical and chemical properties,enhance chemical stability,extended the life of the film of the coating.TiO2 is significance as a solar heat-reflective insulation filler applicate for low-carbon energy.In this paper, nanowires TiO2 with different crystal structures, different morphologys are prepared by Hydrothermal Synthesis method.As the same time,TiO2 are prepared by precipitation with good dispersion, different crystal structures and morphologys.And the process is Low-cost, simple.Depth study is done to the preparation methods and influencing factors by SEM, TEM, XRD, and infrared reflection detection.PH and temperature impact the morphology of the nanowires prepared by Hydrothermal Synthesis,and nano-line growth mechanism is been analysised. While TiO2 are prepared by precipitation, the amount of dispersant should not be too much. appropriate dosage can get a better dispersion and excess will cause the reunion. The DBS residue could impact A-R conversion temperature.A small amount of DBS can reduce the A-R transition temperature,but excess residue could rise the A-R transition temperature.To detect solar reflectance of coatings we use the standard test method specified by ASTM E 424-71-2007 and a simple test device prepared according to U.S. military standard MIL-E-46 136. The best reflectance of coating we prepared is up to 92.64%. We found the best size of anatase and rutile TiO2 to re reflect the visiable and infare light is 0.29-0.59μm and 0.35-1.13μm respectively by calculate.The method (ASTM E424-71-2007) which use UV-visible-near infrared spectrophotometer have higher accuracy. The result of this detection method impacted little for environmental factors,and can scientific reflection the properties of the materials of energy objectively.As detective results shown, the coating of the composite fillers with different lattice type and particle size have significantly improvement to reflect solar heat compare with single filler coating.The best solar reflectance can reach 93.8%(ASTM E-424-71-2007).
