The oil-immersed transformer with solar spectral selectivity heat conduction and heat radiation coating is to reduce the absorption of the solar energy and the effective heat transfer to the coating surface for the purpose of cooling material belonging to function coating area, which is significant to the outdoor use of transformers. A large of research and development had been successfully developed with the lasting long use of the transformer coating, but when the coating was used in the outdoor, the transformer could not work properly due to the impact of the sun illumination and the interior heat produced in the device made the medium in oil-immersed transformer temperature rise above the working temperature of internal.Therefore, the research on the cooling effect of the solar spectral selectivity heat conduction and heat radiation coatings to achieve the engineering application had an important significance. According to the heating original of the oil-immersed transformer, the source and influence factors of temperature rise of the medium was analyzed, and the material selection basis and mechanism of the solar spectral coating by reflection were presented, and the various methods of effect and mechanism for improving the coating conductivity were also improved. The best cooling effect of the solar spectral selection heat conduction and heat radiation coating formula was obtained by optimizing the design which preliminary realized the goal of the solar spectral selectivity heat conduction and heat radiation coating in oil-immersed transformer engineering practicability. Specific research and results were as follows:1. According to the solar heating and the solar spectral selection reflection mechanism, the packing screening basis of the solar spectral selectivity reflection coating was analyzed, and the packing system of the solar spectral selection heat radiation coating was preliminary selected.2. A research was made on the solar reflection mechanism and thermal effect of the sheet metal powder and inorganic semiconductor, for establishing the best inorganic semiconductor packing of the visible near infrared reflection property, and the effect of the content of packing and the coating thickness on the visible near infrared reflection property was explored. Then it came to a conclusion of the best visible near infrared reflection property of the coating thickness and the packing content.3. According to the heat conduction mechanism of the coating, the influence factors about the heat conductivity of the coating was analyzed, and the method of improving the heat conductivity of the coating was also summarized.4. On the basis of the improved method of heat-conducting property of the coating, research had showed that the variety of packing, percent content, particle size and particle size matching could increase the heat conductivity of the coating property,and different particle size matching packing could be increased by increasing the packing close packed, and the heat conductivity of coating capacity could be optimized and improved by the additives. NSF163, KH560 and CNTs were added to significantly improve the heat conductivity coefficient of the coating.5. According to the medium in the oil-immersed transformer temperature rising, the mixed use of the solar spectral selective heat radiation packing and heat conduction packing had an influence on the medium temperature, and the induced thermal packing of coatings formulation design was summarized, and the use of the coating engineering was evaluated.
