The strain DS58 has a strong antibacterial from 91 salinity fungi of Decaisnea fargesii. Which was identified as Aspergillus niger by ITS sequence and morphological identification. Useing rice culture-medium solid fermentation technology to ferment the strain of DS58.There are 230.2g extracts from the fermentation extracted with ethyl acetate. Fourteen compounds were isolated and purified by silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography from the fermentation extracted of an endophytic fungus DS58. These compounds were identified as β-sitosterol(1), 6-isovaleryl-4-methoxy-pyran-2-one(2),(22E, 24R)-5α,8α-epidioxyerg-osta-6,22-die-3β-ol(3), ethyl hydroxybenzo-2(3H)-furanone(4), 2,5-dihydroxyphenyl acetate(5), methyl 2,5-dihydroxy benzeneacetate(6), succinic acid(7), 2,5-dihydroxy benzeneacetic acid(8), cannabifolactone A(9), campyrone A(10), 3-hydroxy-3-(methoxycarbonyl) pentanedioic acid(11), 4-acetamidobutanoic acid(12), malformin A1(13) and asperpyrones A(14). Compounds 2 is a new one which was isolated from the natural.Compounds 5, 9 and 11 were isolated from the culture of the fungi for the first time.Four bacteria strains and four plant pathogenic fungi were used to test the 14 compounds’ antibacterial activity, the test results show that the 2,5-dihydroxy benzeneacetic acid and its derivatives are widely bacteriostasis.Compound 11 has an effectively inhibit in plant pathogenic fungi. The MIC of Botrytis cinerea and Alternaria brassicae(Berk.) is 31.5 g/m L. To remove DPPH antioxidant experiment showed that the activity of compounds 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 14 are stronger than VC.To study this subject, that provide a good resource for the new antibacterial and antioxidant drug. So this study is very useful and will have a further study on this topic.
