As high heating efficiency and quick heating of electromagnetic induction heating system for Injection molding machine, it is gradually being adopted by industry. But as it relates to the interaction between the electromagnetic physical field and temperature fields field and the time varying of the model parameters, it is also difficult to accurately control the heating temperature.This also makes the electromagnetic induction heating system of injection molding machine has not been applicated by modern industrial. In order to take the necessary measures and reasonable heating parameters, It is necessary for the uniformity of barrel temperature to research on temperature characteristics and rules of electromagnetic induction heating system for injection molding machine. For these reasons, this paper major research on parameter identification problems and process parameters of electromagnetic induction heating system, which affects the heating effect.Firstly, experimental device of the electromagnetic induction heating for injection machine has been designed and built basic on the demand for electromagnetic induction heating experiment. The design of mechanical structure and hardware device has been completed. Temperature acquisition system has been developed by the graphical programming software Labview. The experiment has proved that the device can achieve the requirement of experiment.In addition, electromagnetic induction heating system model has been established by the principle of equivalent transformer and the basic law of heat conduction. the parameters in the model have been identified by using the data collected from experimental station. Due to high noise of the experiment data and time-varying characteristic of the parameters,filtering algorithm has been used to reduce noise of the temperature data and the least-squares estimation algorithm by groups has been introduced to identify system characteristics which Varies with time. The effective identification result lay a good foundation for the research on the precise control of the injection mold machine electromagnetic induction heating system and the influence of process parameters on the heating effect.Then, to find influence of process parameters on effect of heat, the single factor experiment was carried out on different spacing of the heating power coil, coil number and the thickness of the insulating layer. The results are helpful for the design and optimization of electromagnetic induction heater.Finally, the numerical simulation of electromagnetic-heat coupling process has been implemented by using Ansys software. Effect of the barrel temperature with process parameters (including frequency, current, coil size, thermal insulation layer thickness, coil spacing) has been analysis by simulation. By comparing experimental and simulation result, the validity of the simulation results has been demonstrated. The determination and optimization of process parameters of induction heater will be put into effect by it.
