Electrolyte Jet Machining (EJM) is a technology utilizing anodized electrolyte jet to impinge the processing zones. Micro-holes in 0.1 mm-1.0 mm, suited to fabrication by EJM, which is widely applied. Based on micro-holes machining technology and research status of EJM, the EJM platform was been set up, and the experiments were conducted, the distribution of the flow field and electric field were analyzed, a series of experiment were operated on 3J21, GH4169. The main researchs are as follows:The EJM machine based on numerical control platform was set up, including filtering circulatory system, inject system, pressure-tight and dry tool setting. Dry tool setting was designed to ensure the experiments of removing recast layer with high precision.Membranous rapid flow condition on the work piece surface were analyzed. The Jet speed of different ratio of length to diameter structures were analyzed, in order to optimizing design of nozzle structure; the distribution of the flow field and electric field were analyzed, in order to optimizing selection of suitable processing conditions.Removing recast layer machining experiments on 3J21 were conducted. The influence of processing voltage, the pressure of electrolyte, machining gap were analyzed. The result shows that the superior processing conditions are that processing voltage is 300 V, the electrolyte pressure is 0.3 MPa, machining gap is 0 mm.Removing recast layer machining experiments on GH4169 were conducted. The result shows that the superior processing conditions are that processing voltage is 200 V, the electrolyte pressure is 0.4 MPa, machining gap is 0 mm.The analysis of the holes quality after EJM shows that EJM can obviously remove the recast layer, and improve surface quality. The experimental results show that it’s feasible that recast layer can be removed by EJM.
