In recent years, because of our country uses up resources to promote the rapid development of economy, people’s living level increases. However, meanwhile, with the economic development, this also spawned a series of ecological environment problems, such as over-exploitation of resources, which restricts the harmonious development of economy and society in China. Environmental problems in the period of social transformation in China under the background of it is very serious and outstanding, people live in ecological environment deteriorated.Atmospheric pollution is serious, especially the industrial wastes (waste water, waste gas, waste residue) emissions. Increasingly serious environmental pollution not only destroyed the natural material conditions of economic development in China, our country economy development potential, has increasingly affected the residents normal life, work and rest and work. Has clearly put forward on The 18th Congress of China’s Communist Party:is the ecological civilization construction and economic construction, political construction, cultural construction, social construction tied together, complement each other and jointly contribute to the realization of the beautiful China. Economic development and environmental protection is the relationship between each other, promote each other. In promoting the sustainable development of economy at the same time, to the environment as part of the cost of economic development, so environmental protection has become a important way of economic development. So, pollution control and community social workers involved in pollution treatment is particularly important.In this study, on the basis of domestic and foreign literature, to Meitong community in Tongling, Anhui as the research object, from the theory of environmental sociology, community conflict theory, demand hierarchy theory, using case study, group work and community different intervention methods, based on the different environment affected populations within the community, the origin of the analysis of the pollution sources, the present situation of ecological environment of the community and the government at present, residents’ committees, the enterprise and the interests of the relationship between community residents and residents to help correct rights protection scheme is put forward, in the bridge of communication and coordination. We can use professional social work methods and techniques of pollution control and rights protection for the community residents which we can offer them help. We also find out the corresponding solutions. Depending on the summary and reflection, which based on the analysis of measures, to reveal the social work intervention pollution community practice of the deficiencies and improvements. In practice, constantly sum up experience lesson, improve services, meeting the demand of community residents of various, promoting ecological community construction and development, which is conducive to social stability.
