Cyclone Desander has a simple structure without moving parts, low cost and compact size, etc., it is usually used in the production process of oil and gas separation. In this paper, computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT is used in numerical simulation study of internal flow of Conical Cyclone Desander, the main research contents are as follows:(1) Reynolds Stress Model(RSM), QUICK discrete scheme convection term, PRESTO pressure gradient term and pressure-velocity coupling interpolation format SIMPLEC algorithm are used in numerical simulation for gas flow field of Cyclone Desander. The gas flow field velocity, pressure and turbulence distributions and secondary flow phenomena of cyclone desander are researched.(2) Phase-coupled Stochastic Model is used in numerical simulation analysis of gas-solid flow of Cyclone Desander by tracking the trajectory of the solid particles, revealing the movement roles of solid particles in Cyclone Desander and studying the operation and structural parameters influence on the separation efficiency of Cyclone Desander.(3) Statistical analysis of variance and regression analysis are used in researching operation and structural parameters significant affect analysis on separation efficiency of gas-solid flow in Cyclone Desander, and operating parameters and structural parameters on the separation efficiency effect relationship are obtained.(4) Based on the gas flow field and gas-solid flow numerical simulation, Mixture Model is used in preliminary numerical simulation on the gas-liquid-solid flow of the of Cyclone Desander, analyze the effects of different amounts and different liquid solution containing sand ratio Desanding cyclone separation efficiency conditions, as well as the influence of structural parameters on the separation efficiency of the cyclone desander flow when gassed.The researched results show that the internal flow of Conical Cyclone Desander is very complex three-dimensional strong rotational motion, the centrifugal force affectting on the particles plays a dominant role in the process of particle rotation separation. The secondary flow movement exists in Cyclone Desander, so the separation performance will decline; the particle size and the inlet velocity of operating parameters and insertion depth and height of the conical segment of structural parameters affectting on separation efficiency of cyclone desander is very significant, other parameters’ affectting is general; when the gas-liquid-solid flow happens in Cyclone Desander, the separation efficiency of cyclone desander is increasing amount of fluid containing increases, and with the increasing of liquid sand ratio increasing.
