Low permeability oil reservoir has low permeability, low abundance and low single well production, traditional pumping capability and oilwell supply capability for the fluid cannot be effectively match, and it leads to pumping unit evacuate and wastes energy. Meanwhile, the traditional pumping at the wellsite data collection, transmission capacity can’t meet the needs of low permeable oilfield digital construction. Combined with the characteristics of low permeability oil field and construction of digital oilfield direction, depth research on control technology and system for the digital pumping unit.Analysis of the shortcomings of traditional pumping operation in the low permeability oilfield, establish a digital pumping control scheme?research the intelligent intermittent pumping control model based on the artificial neural network. This paper designs the intelligent controller circuits which consists of STM32F205 microcontroller, Voice prompt circuit?Information gathering circuits, Intermittent pumping control and balance adjustment circuit, Stroke rate adjustment circuit 433 MHz wireless communication circuit, the communication interface of intelligent controller and each module. This paper designs the intelligent controller run the program which consists of main program, ADC collection program, intermittent pumping control program, stroke and balance automatic adjustment program, and voice prompts program etc. The intelligent controller ADC collection voltage and current signal of digital pumping, and calculates the real-time operating parameters by algorithm?realizes digital pumping unit intelligent intermittent pumping control, stroke and balance automatic adjustment.Run the test shows that the control system can achieve digital pumping unit’s intelligent intermittent pumping control, stroke rate and balance automatic adjustment. It achieves energy-saving purposes. Moreover, it achieves wellsite data wireless transmission and remote control in low permeability oilfield. The control system can achieve low permeability oilfield demand, meet the actual needs of oilfield, and the system has promotional value.
