The Analysis And Research Of Low-temperrature Cold Air Cutting Performance Of Hard Processing Materials

With the development of the manufacturing industry,the application of the hard processing materials become more and more widely.However, with the characteristics of high hardness and high strength of the hard machining materials,making the processing not easy to go on, then how to improve the cutting performance of the hard processing+ material becomes a new problem.As a kind of green processing technology,cold air cooling can solve the problem in the machining of hard processing materials effectively and make a great progress in recent years.This paper take the theortical research to the hard processing materials’ cutting performance and the cutting mechanism of low temperature air technology,analysis the phenomenon of low temperature brittleness of metal,cold air cooling and lubricating mechanism of trace,the atomization mechanism of lubricating fluid,Infiltration and chip breaking mechanism,explore the cold air pressure, injection distance and the amount of oil supply on atomization effect through the experimental,get the optimal parameters.We reserch the effects of low temperature to the material cutting properties through the typical hard processing materials,Respectively in the experimental conditions of dry air, traditional lubricant and the cold air MQL cutting to turn stanless steel, titanium alloy, high temperature alloy,through theoretical analysis and experimental verification we can get some advantages when we used the cooling air materials, it can reduce the cutting force of metal material, extend the life of the cutter and improve the surface quality of the workpiece etc.It is showed that the cutting performance of the material can be effectively improved when the cold air cooling technology is used in the cutting of hard machining materials,then the environment can be protected and the energy is saved.
