This article adopts the case retrieval technology in the field of artificial intelligence, combined with knowledge acquisition in the field of knowledge management and reuse technology, explore and solve the key technical problems in the design of injection mold, developed intelligent injection mold design system based on knowledge, to improve the efficiency and quality of injection mold design provides effective technical support.Faced with the above problem and its characteristic, this topic from more than one injection mold enterprise according to the practical application of the injection mold design process, characteristics and so on has carried on the earnest research and analysis, from the injection mold design knowledge precipitation and the design efficiency and standardization, puts forward the research idea of injection mold design case retrieval system based on ontology. In this paper, the main work contents are as follows:1. By detailed analysis of the process, the role and characteristics about process design in the injection mold, and through the introduction of case-based reasoning, and analyzes its key technologies, points out the feasibility of the injection mold design case retrieval system.2. According to the features on process of the injection mould design.
