Shortcut glass fiber reinforced benzoxazine resin composites were prepared. The influence of glass fibers sizing agent, the length and content of the shortcut glass fibers on the mechanic properties and heat resistance of composites were studied. The results showed that: the mechanical properties of composites could be improved by adding shortcut glass fibers, Composites bending properties and impact toughness were improved obviously. As 0.5 wt % 3mm shortcut glass fibers strand, flexural strength and impact toughness respectively increased by 70.05% and 81.94%. In addition, the morphology of the bending fracture surface of the composites showed that: the fibers could be well dispersed in the benzoxazine resin at lower content. The agglomeration of fibers appeared with the increase of fibers content. The existence of the fibers surface sizing agent could be effective improved the interfacial compatibility of the glass fibers and resin.A series of laminate using benzoxazine resin system as matrix, and the glass fiber fabric as reinforcement were prepared. The effect of related factors on the properties of laminate was investigated. The results showed that: the properties of laminate were improved by glass fiber fabric modification using KH-560 silane coupling agent. Composites owned better comprehensive properties when resin content was 35%-38%. Composites prepared using modification HS-600 glass fiber fabric had the better mechanical properties and heat resistance, optimum comprehensive properties was tensile strength 276.8MPa,flexural strength 497.9MPa, impact toughness 76.41KJ/m2 and glass transition temperature 194.2℃ when using 25 layers of prepreg which drying time at 16 min and resin content at 35%.
