The accuracy of angle parking in the process of the loom braking is an important factor that affects the quality of the fabric. The braking of loom especially insulted by filling broken will result in tart mark, and it will make the fabri cproduce sparse or dense transverse weaving crosspiece.The loom in the parking or fa ult state driven again will be generated starting mark, thus it will affect the quality of fabric.Therefore, it’s important for the quality of the fabric to study on the process of the loom braking, and find a relatively precise angles for loom to benefit for the loom driven again. In the process of loom barking, we can control the giving current to control electromagnetic clutch absorbing, but because of the load in spindle is changing,it increases the difficulty of implementing precise loom braking. So ho w to compensate the changing load of spindle by regulating the giving currentthe so as to realize the precise control of loom brake angle is an important research subject of weaving process of looms.Firstly, this paper investigates the development process of the loom and working principle of towel rapier loom, then investigates research and review on process of the loom at home and abroad.Based on the loom existingin laboratory,determining the topics and main direction and content of research through the overall research and analysis on the brake system of loom.Additionally, according to the demand of this research, a design of control circuit system in the braking system of towel rapier loom is conducted. This system adopted the LPC11c14 microprocessor with the Cortex-M0 core and the main control module communication of loom was communicated by C AN, which realized the controlling of the braking system and provided the foundation to start the subsequent research.Based on the mechanical analysis, the main effect of the accuracy of the braking system is the loading dynamic change of the main loom shaft, which makes the controlling to be difficult. Therefore, the focus of this paper is to study on the loading dynamic change of the main loom shaft and obtain the rule of the loading change. Besides, by the simulation of the electromagnetic clutch, a closed- loop control of braking system was put forward.Finally, the experimental bench is designed to study the effect of the brake angle and control current on the controlling accuracy, which taken the towel rapier loom as experimental object. Comparison results, the effects of brake angle, high- voltage current and other factors on the accuracy of the brakes. It has positive significance to improve the accuracy of the loom brake through this study.
