Applying transfer matrix method,the dynamic characteristics of Rapair Loom is studied. Constructions of mathematics model and calculating method are introduced. The critical speeds and the vibrating models of the Loom's main shaft are analyzed. The calculation data is in accordance with the Loom's actual test. The influences of main structural parameters upon critical speed are also studied. The conclusion provides precisely theoretical material to the Loom's design and usage. Based on the dynamic characteristic analysis,to minimize the Loom's vibration,parameters of the main shaft are optimally designed. In this paper,the establishment of optimal design mathematics model and calculating method are introduced. According to the optimal design,the best design parameters are achieved,and find out the parameters' deviation of the Loom comparing with this optimal design.
