In recent years,as the rapid development of automobile industry,large amount of scrapped cars arise in china. The end-of-life vehicles are known as “The Mine Of City”, which will be of great value to environment, economy and resource. As the requisite functional unit, the dynamos also step in the end of their life cycle with the scrapped car. However, the waste dynamos can be recycled by use of remanufacturing technology. The primary task of remanufacture is dismantlement. Dismantlement of the end-of- life vehicles in our country is still in initial phase, so there are many prominent problems, such as, the tools are backward and the way of dismantling is rough,causing a certain difference compared with the mechanization and industrialization in western countries. The traditional pattern of dismantling by people will not meet the need when the number of scarped dynamo becomes larger and larger. The current situation makes the remanufacture of dynamos face a severe test. It seems necessary and urgent to introduce the automatic tools to the progress.Based on the above background, the paper suggests that automatic tools should be used in the progress of dismantling of the end-of-live auto dynamo. The automatic dismantling devices based on the principle of Mechanics and electromechanical control should be Developed. It will play an important role in improving efficiency and reducing the labor intensity of workers.Firstly, the project of dismantling automatically and the flow of the system are brought forward in the paper after collecting large amount of related data an d communicating with the enterprises deeply, that is,many mechanical hands will cooperate with each other to complete the goal of dismantling automatically.Then, the functional module base on function requirements are designed in th e paper, including the multi-stage rotary table device, modular fixture, the d evice used to remove two bolts synchronously, the device used to remove the n uts, the device used to remove the pulley form the shaft, the impact device,the recovery unit for collecting bolts and nuts and the walking mechanisms. Th e key makeups are also calculated and proofread.Further, the key parts such as the spine shaft and the planet carrier are made structure static analysis under limit load by ANSYS to verify the reliability o f these tools further.At last, the 3D models of these devices are built by UG and the fitting si mulation and motion simulation of the progress of dismantling are also complete d.
